Neurobehavioral Consequences of Stroke

Stroke is common across the world; the number of strokes has increased substantially within the last decades, and the greatest rates of stroke burden are seen in low-income countries. The neurobehavioural consequences of stroke (NBCS), including post-stroke delirium, post-stroke neuropsychiatric symptoms, post-stoke cognitive impairment, and dementia, constitute a significant part of the burden.
