Project title: Neurotorium for Neuro-education: Multimodal Trainings Targeting Neurological Disorders

Country: Malaysia

Anchoring institution: University Putra Malaysia

Dates running: 2026

Status: Ongoing

Project description

“Neurotorium for Neuro-education” is a 3.5-day multimodal training initiative in Malaysia designed to boost clinical skills and brain-health awareness using Neurotorium’s digital resources, brain atlas and teaching modules.

Over 3 days, the scientific programme features 22 expert talks (with international speakers from Malaysia, Singapore, USA, China and South Korea) plus hands-on “Neuro-training Sessions” using Neurotorium modules, reinforced with gamified quizzes to keep learning active for students and early-career clinicians.

The final 0.5 day expands beyond the clinic with “Brain Awareness by Neurotorium”. This session introduces interactive stations for school children and older adults, led by medical-student “Brain Ambassadors,” blending creative, gamified and AI-enabled activities to build lasting brain-health awareness in the community.

About Neurotorium’s Clinical Education Grants

Neurotorium is offering Clinical Education Grants to support non-profit educational projects aimed at strengthening clinical competencies within the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders through educational activities aimed at healthcare professionals.

Applicants can request up to 100,000 DKK (approximately $15,000 USD) per year for a duration of one to three years. The budget can only include direct costs. Projects must incorporate Neurotorium’s educational resources, be anchored within established non-commercial organizations (such as universities, hospitals, or NGOs), and demonstrate potential to positively impact clinical practice.
