The symptoms of many anxiety disorders partially overlap with depressive disorders, and are commonly found comorbid in patients.1 The presence of this comorbidity negatively affects clinical outcomes in these people.4 Many treatment options are available for people with comorbid anxiety and depressive disorders, including antidepressant pharmacotherapy and psychosocial interventions.1
