Guidelines for management of post-stroke NPS

This review of guidelines identified a potential 15,400 articles to screen, of which 200 publications underwent data extraction.¹ Most of the guidelines were from high-income countries.¹ There were strong recommendations for multidisciplinary rehabilitation, task-specific training, and specific interventions for post-stroke impairments.¹ However, the authors note the lack of consideration paid to aspects of stroke that are important to patients, perhaps reflecting the fact that patient and lay-person involvement in the guidelines was lacking.¹
