This review of guidelines identified a potential 15,400 articles to screen, of which 200 publications underwent data extraction.1 Most of the guidelines were from high-income countries.1 There were strong recommendations for multidisciplinary rehabilitation, task-specific training, and specific interventions for post-stroke impairments.1 However, the authors note the lack of consideration paid to aspects of stroke that are important to patients, perhaps reflecting the fact that patient and lay-person involvement in the guidelines was lacking.1
