Diagnostic criteria for dementia in Parkinson’s disease

While developing the new guidelines for diagnosis of dementia in PD, the MDS task force conducted a comprehensive and systematic review of studies in this area.² The task force examined dementia over the course of PD, including its epidemiology; its effects on different aspects of cognition; its behavioural and psychiatric symptoms; and its relationship to motor and other non-motor symptoms.²
