This study analyzed health-care data from 510,502 adults aged 55 and over in Scotland1. There were 2,640 people with Parkinson’s disease, who were included in the analysis shown on the image looking at the various comorbidities seen in these people1. Various different physical and mental comorbidity was seen, ranging from constipation that was almost 4-times more common in people with PD compared with controls, to chronic kidney disease that was slightly less common1.
