Medication-overuse headache in chronic migraine

The management of medication-overuse headache involves primary prevention (prevention of a condition), secondary prevention (early detection of a condition and prevention of progression), and tertiary prevention (effective management of the existing condition), as detailed in the figure on the slide.^{[Ferrari et al., 2015]}
