The International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition (ICHD-3), from the International Headache Society (IHS), provides an extensive classification of headaches, including migraine and tension-type headache.[IHS, 2018] The classification is hierarchical, so that within the migraine classification, there are subclassifications for migraine with or without aura, and for chronic migraine as outlined on the slide.[IHS, 2018]
