Safe injecting rooms

Although there is some evidence that safe injecting rooms can reduce the harms of injected drug use, there is a lack of good high-quality evidence for their use.² As such, the use of safe injecting rooms for people with addictions and substance-use disorders has been a debated topic across Europe.¹ With the new forms of injectable stimulant substances of abuse that have emerged, the issue of reducing the risks of injectable substances has gained salience.¹
