In the study, 10,286 (24.8%) people with schizophrenia had one type of substance use disorder and 8,275 (20.0%) had two or more types.1 Substance use disorders were recorded in more than one register in 10,528 (56.7%) of 18,561 individuals with schizophrenia.1
