The multi-episode course of schizophrenia

Symptoms were assessed using the Scale for the Assessment of Positive Symptoms and the Scale for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms; a composite score was calculated for each dimension, ranging from 0 to 5.¹ A score of 2 or less on all global ratings of symptoms was classed as clinical remission.¹
