Although attempts have been made to define comorbidity, it is a term that is used with different meaning across the scientific literature. Epidemiological studies indicate a high rate of comorbidity in people with psychiatric disorders, ranging from 60–79%. This slide deck introduces psychiatric, neurological, and somatic comorbidities, as well as co-conditions of anxiety disorders.

This slide deck was developed by Prof. Dr. Milan Latas, Belgrade University School of Medicine and Clinic for Psychiatry, Clinical Center of Serbia, and Prof. Dr. Katharina Domschke, MA, MD, PhD, Full Professor and Chair of the Dept. of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University of Freiburg, Germany, and Adjunct Professor at the Medical University Vienna, Austria, in collaboration with Cambridge (a division of Prime, Cambridge, UK).
