Suicidal ideation is much more prevalent than suicide attempts among people with anxiety and/or depressive disorders.1 The most consistent determinants of suicidal ideation as well as suicide attempts were a diagnosis of comorbid depressive and anxiety disorder (compared with an anxiety disorder alone), and higher severity of depression.1
